Darmofal Supports Trapilo
As we approach another important season, it’s time for all of us to thoughtfully ponder who we might vote for to represent our town and its residents.
We should look for a person who as Judge Judy says, uses their two ears more than their one mouth — someone willing to listen before speaking. A candidate with common sense. Integrity, business experience and a genuine commitment to serving the best interest of everyone in the community.
We need someone who undertands the demographics of our town, including the various age groups and income levels that make up our population. A Select Board member who recognizes that our town is unique and that many residents would like to preserve the character and values that make it special.
At the same time, we need leadership that understands the financial challenges facing the town and the importance of addressing them responsibly. That includes not only managing local financial concerns, but also understanding how state financial decisions can impact our community.
After looking carefully at each candidate, exercise your right to vote for the person you believe best meets your expectations as a Select Board member of the town and ALL of its residents.
As a seasoned resident of Fairhaven who has had the pleasure of living here for 50 plus years and raising a family, I have decided to cast my vote for Rick Trapilo. He will work hard to preserve our town for future residents so they, too, can enjoy what we have.
