The (12-3) Fairhaven High School Blue Devils Girls Lacrosse team hosted the (8-5) Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs on 5/18/26 on a sunny afternoon at Alumni Stadium.
The Bulldogs struck first less than two minutes into the opening period for the game’s lone first-quarter score.
The Blue Devils responded with a pair of goals to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
ORR recorded a dominant three-goal third quarter performance and scored the first goal of the final frame. Everything snapped into place for the Blue Devils in the fourth quarter. Fairhaven faced a two-point deficit with 10 minutes to go in the match but overcame adversity by ripping three-consecutive fourth quarter goals while holding the Bulldogs scoreless to complete the comeback victory, 6-5.
