Letter Kuechler has proven track record

Kuechler Has Proven Track Record

I am writing to express my strong support for Pam Kuechler for Fairhaven Selectboard. I have known Pam for nearly all of the 25 years I have lived in Fairhaven. I first met her as a fellow parent at Rogers School, where both of our children attended elementary school. Even then, Pam was an active and dedicated member of the PTO.

In 2008, Pam joined the School Committee, where she served for 15 years. During her time on the committee, she was never afraid to make difficult decisions when they were necessary. One of the toughest was the decision to close the beloved elementary school in our neighborhood. While it was not an easy choice, it demonstrated Pam’s willingness to put the long-term interests of the entire town first. She carefully considers all sides of an issue and makes thoughtful decisions based on what she believes is best for Fairhaven as a whole.

In addition to her extensive experience on the School Committee, Pam brings a deep understanding of both local and state government. Professionally, she leads the non-profit organization People Acting in Community Endeavors for Brighter Futures (PACE) in New Bedford.

PACE is dedicated to supporting individuals and families with low incomes by providing programs and services focused on education and training, health and wellness, and financial stability.

Pam has a proven track record of bringing people together to strengthen communities and improve lives. I am confident she will bring that same leadership, dedication, and thoughtful decision-making to the Fairhaven Selectboard.

Please join me in voting for Pam on June 9th.

Kelly Ochoa, Fairhaven
