On Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center, 181 Hillman St., New Bedford, will transform into a vibrant hub of activity for the 5th Annual Family Fest. This free community event invites families from across the Greater New Bedford area to enjoy a morning of play while connecting with vital local resources.
Admission and activities are FREE; food is available for purchase.
Beyond the games and crafts, Family Fest serves a deeper purpose: bridging the gap between families and the programs that support them. Representatives from cornerstone organizations, including the New Bedford Free Public Library, Little People’s College, Community Boating Center, PACE, and many more, will be available to share information about their services, summer programs, and educational resources.
Family Fest is a collaborative effort by PACE Child Care Works, the New Bedford Birth to 3rd Partnership, New Bedford Parks, Recreation & Beaches, and the Greater New Bedford Youth Alliance. Together, these organizations work to ensure that every child in New Bedford has the tools, resources, and community support needed to thrive.
