Show me your budget and I’ll show you your values. I don’t remember the first time I heard that. But I liked it. I thought it was profound. I still think it is. Let’s start with the Big Buffoon and his $1.5 trillion (TRILLION) proposed budget for the Department of Defense, aka, the Department of War, which is so much more accurate under this moron.
Then he depicts himself as Jesus. Right, yeah, Jesus is so well known for waging war. Now he says he was a doctor, not Jesus. This guy seriously needs a real cognitive test, like, really…you don’t know difference, or you think WE don’t?
Meanwhile people are still getting plucked off the streets and sent to overcrowded, nasty detention centers, or to countries they have no ties to.
Hungarians are showing us the way. The Big Buffoon loves Viktor Orban who destroyed his democratic country with rampant corruption and suppression of votes. He destroyed the free press, his cronies bought them all up (sound familiar?). But, the people said they had enough. They came out in such huge numbers even Orban had to accept the results.
Showing up. Showing up to vote. Everyone needs to show up.
Closer to home. We have budget stuff (page 11); a proposed 40B development (page 13); a new Eagle Scout in town (page 12), and bunch of other fun stuff.
No one has signed up for the free child care during Town Meeting. If you’re thinking you’ll just drop; the kids off, you might want to rethink that strategy. Let the Rec Center know you’ll be going by. See page 9 for details on the program.
