Registered voters in Acushnet are encouraged to attend the annual Town Meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, 6/5, at the Ford Middle School, 708 Middle Rd., Acushnet. Town Meeting is the spending authority for the town and will be asked to vote on a $28.2 million budget. A variety of other articles, including zoning articles, require TM approval. Also on the warrant is an article to eliminate the quorum for town meeting. The warrant has 32 articles on it.
