The Acushnet/Fairhaven boys basketball teams played Seekonk and Canton on Saturday, 1/24/26, at Hastings Middle School in Fairhaven in MetroWest Basketball League play.
The fourth-graders won their game against Seekonk, 37-24, while the eighth graders won their game against Canton, 59-40.
The Acushnet-Fairhaven Basketball League (AFBL) is open to all children who either reside or attend school in Acushnet or Fairhaven. The select, boys and girls competitive travel teams play in the MetroWest Basketball League. The League games are on the weekends against other towns that are in a 50-mile radius. The season runs from Early December into March.
