You can start your profile for 2026 and beyond at any time. This includes entering your demographics, activities and asking for references — the only thing you cannot do is enter scholarship specific information and actually “apply” for the scholarships until Feb. 1 thru April 1, 2026. But you can get 90% of the work done well in advance… so go ahead and set up your profile NOW!

NEW scholarships are being added constantly. Between Feb1st and April 1st check your profile weekly to see what NEW scholarships you qualify for both at the local and national level. Scholarships are awarded for a variety of reasons, including academics, sports, community service, chosen major, and more.
Fairhaven Dollars for Scholars chapter is a nonprofit foundation that supports academic success in our community. As part of Scholarship America’s national network of locally based, volunteer-driven Dollars for Scholars chapters, our mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary education success for our students.
Dollars for Scholars chapters like ours help hometown students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds, establishing endowments, providing assistance with college readiness and the financial aid process, and distributing scholarships each year.
