December 17, 2025 by Staff Writer

By Beth David, Editor

Fairhaven’s annual Old-Tyme Holiday Village faced some pretty cold weather on Saturday, 12/13/25, but it did not stop people from enjoying the festivities both inside and out.

Food trucks set up on Walnut Street, and a big tent kept people out of the wind to enjoy their meals. Inside town hall the nonprofit shops reported brisk sales, with several closed up early because they ran out of inventory.

The North Farhaven Improvement Assocation ran out of almost everythng.

Outside, the Fairhaven Village Militia roasted chestnuts on an open fire, and young’uns could get pony rides on the lawn of town hall.

In the evening, Santa and Mrs. Claus visited town hall and took pictures on the stage in the auditorium.
