Hi everyone!
After another season of many great games played by the Fairhaven Blue Devils, they took on Norwood at Gillette Stadium on December 4th for the Superbowl. Starting as a close game between both teams, the Blue Devils pulled through with a win in the end. The score for the division 6 game, resulted in 28 for Fairhaven and 14 for Norwood.
As the game began, students, teachers, and supporters filled the stands and cheered on our Fairhaven Blue Devils for the third year in a row. The game was the perfect night and place for our community to get together and acknowledge how far the team has gotten this year and cheer them on through the state championship.
Others traveling to Gillette with the football team included the cheer team and band here at FHS.
After two quarters, it was time for the halftime show, when the cheer team performed an amazing routine and the talented band students showcased their skills with a lively musical performance.
After the halftime performances, fans had the chance to purchase merchandise, food, and warm drinks like hot chocolate that were the perfect treat for the chilly evening.
After another season full of successful wins, as a student at FHS, I want to recognize the coaches, players, and everyone who has supported the team — they all play a vital role in representing our school and inspiring both the students and the team.
Go Blue Devils!
