First Snowfall coats the region with snow, frigid cold

December 17, 2025 by Staff Writer

Fairhaven’s official snow count for Saturday and Sunday, 12/13/25 and 12/14, was only two inches, though it seemed to be a bit more in some places. Or, maybe, because it was the first of the season, it just felt that way. In any case, it made for some beautiful scenes, with the wet snow clinging to trees and coating roads and fields alike.
