The North Fairhaven Improvement Association held its annual lighting of Benoit Square on Friday, 12/5/25, featuring both Santa and Mrs. Claus, a sing-along, free hot chocolate, and lots of laughs.
Fairhaven High School student, Emmalyn Pereira, led the crowd of around 200 singing Christmas carols. Both Miss Apple Peach, Elyza Wagner, and Jr. Miss Apple Peach, Aubrey Souza, helped with handing out song books and candy canes, and otherwise just spreading holiday cheer.
Everyone had a chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus by the tree in the gazebo. Santa even handed out brand new 2025 pennies to each child.
