Well, my mother went to heaven and I immediately descended into tech support hell. First one thing, then another. Go figure.
Thank you to everyone who sent condolences after hearing about the death of my mother. I am very appreciative of the people who showed up at the wake or the funeral.
Mom’s obituary is on page 6. And, of course, I added a few pics. Yes, that’s Evil Dog with her. He was not evil to her. Ever.
Whatever, dog, whatever.
It was very nice of the Select Board to mention my mother’s death and have a moment of silence for her, along with Gail Isaksen. They are both in good company.
We have a little Select Board coverage for you this week. See page 4 for that. It was a short meeting and the day of my mother’s funeral, so….
The town of Fairhaven launched a new emergency boat. See page 18 for that.
Our cover story is always fun, but, no doubt it’s way more fun when we win, huh? Sam Simoes did a great job capturing the fun moments. See page 12 for some of his great photos of our kids. Who are, by the way, headed to Gillette again. See page 12 for the story on the game, and a short reminder of the championship info. We ran a longer piece on it last week. But you might still have time to watch it.
The biggest story this week, though, is all the little itty bitty listings for Holiday Happenings. They are spread throughout the paper, so you have to look.
While you’re doing that, be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week, then, see ya,

Glory to Ukraine!
