Death Notice
Octavia (Peters) David, 95, died on 11/24/25. Visitation at Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven, MA 02719, on Sunday, 11/30, from 2–5 p.m. Divine Liturgy of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, December 1, at 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Purgatory Church, 4254 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford, followed by burial at St. Mary’s.
She leaves behind her children, Elizabeth David of Fairhaven, Catherine Thomas and her husband Matthew of New Bedford, Anthony David and his wife Marcelle of Dartmouth, and Marie David* and her husband George Borges of Rochester; grandchildren, Victoria, Samuel, and David Thomas, and Thomas David; her sisters, Mary Ann Chomak of Dartmouth, and Norma Thomas of Fairhaven; and many nieces and nephews.
