All-Inclusive fair welcomes all

October 15, 2025 by Staff Writer

The Fairhaven Commission on Disability and the Fairhaven Belonging Committee hosted Fall For All, an all abilities vendor fair at the Senior Center and Recreation Center on Sunday, 10/12/25.

And although, the start of the big nor’easter seemed to put a damper on the size of the crowd, it did not stop those who did show up from having fun.

Jocelyn and Ellie played ping pong, a target game with a giant ball, skee ball, and just general all around running around the Rec Center gym.

“It’s been a fun event,” said COD chairperson, Krystal Lunn, adding that there was a pickleball demonstration, students from Old Rochester Regional, a race car that kids could crawl around, a DJ, and reiki.

Hannah from Flurries Unified All Stars, said they met a lot of good people. The nonprofit organization runs a unified cheer program, a unified sports program for soccer, basketball, and baseball/Tball, and donates books about kids with differences to local classrooms.

Kathi of K&A Creations showcased  her classes and walk-in crafts for people of all ages and abilities. She said they have adaptive instruments for people who need help with dexterity to create artwork, including ceramics that they can take home the same day.

Melissa was selling her artwork made with Diamond Dotz, tiny little epoxy facets of different colors. She had framed art, cards, coasters, ornaments, and jewelry.

She said she has been making the art for a couple of years and only sells at vendor fairs.

Michelle of M&M Resin Works said she sold some pieces, and was not disappointed.

She had a variety of items, including colorful knick knacks, jewelry, Christmas ornaments, coasters, and candle holders.

She said she thought the weather had put a damper on things, but “that’s all right.”

“I took a class on resin and I got hooked,” said Michelle, adding that at first she sold to friends and family. “I only just started doing shows.”
