Notice of Public Hearing
The Town of Fairhaven will hold a Public Hearing at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 29th, 2025 in the Board of Public Works Conference Room, 5 Arsene Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
In accordance with MGL Chapter 87, Section 3. Discussion of requested removal of 30 hazardous trees located at 31 Oliver St (±14” Ash), 33 Oliver St (±11” & ±11” Ash), 32 Oliver St (±15” Ash), 34 Oliver St (±10” & ±12” Ash), 35 Oliver St (±11” & ±9” Ash), 37 Oliver St (±11” & ±9” Ash), 39 Oliver St (±10” & ±10” Ash), 41 Oliver St (±12”±11” Ash), 36 Oliver St (±11” & ±10” & ±10” Ash), 38 Oliver St (±10” & ±8” & ±7” & ±9” Ash), 42 Oliver St (±9” & ±9” & ±12” Ash), 65 Oliver St (±8” Ash), 70 Oliver St (±10” Bradford Pear), 73 Oliver St (±8” Paper Birch), 22 Rivard St (±11” American Elm), 22 Rivard St (±7” Willow), 20 Rivard St (±8” Japanese Zelkova). Anyone opposed to the removal of these trees should do so in writing per MGL 87 at said hearing.
