The Zoning Board of Appeals is hereby giving notice that a meeting will be held by the Board on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 6:30 PM. in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room located at 122 Main Street, Acushnet, MA 02743.
• Case #2025.06.17B A case of Three Kings Marine, LLC for property located on 42 South Main Street, Map 15, Lot 271 & Sivigny Street, Map 15, Lot 270. The petitioner is appealing a letter from the Building Commissioner to Cease and desist all activity on the premise. The case was continued by the Board of Appeals to August 19, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The August meeting was not held and a new specific date and time is needed for a continuation.
• Case #2025.09.16A A case of Michell Mendonca, for property located at 6 Whelden Lane, Map 23, Lot 9A. The Applicant is applying for a Special Permit as required for a 2 chair salon pursuant to the Zoning By-Laws, Sec. 3.3.1B (11).
• Case #2025.09.16B A case of Meet in the Middle LLC, Map 23, Lot 1. A special permit is required for a Commercial storage, office space, and Contractor yard located within a Residence A (RA) District per Section 33.3.1.B.14 of the Zoning By-Law.
• Case #2025.09.16C A case of Sheryl Casmira for property located at Tobey Street, Map 2, Lot 35.47. On 05/30/2007, Lot 47 was reduced to a non-buildable lot due to wetlands. A variance is required pursuant to 3.3.1.E.(1), minimum lot area and upland requirements. The Applicant is looking to change lot 47 to buildable.
