Join us on Sat., 8/30, at noon at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford, for our “Stand Together for Workers” event, which is part of a group of nationwide events happening on Labor Day Weekend to support workers’ rights. We are also standing for workers abducted from New Bedford, in addition to all workers. The event is sponsored by Indivisible South Coast New England, 50501Mass, the AFL-CIO, PACE, Fairhaven Democratic Town Committee, Democracy Unleashed, Mujeres Victoriosas de New Bedford, Westport Democratic Town Committee, and Rochester and Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committees.
Food Drive
We are having a food drive of non-perishable items to benefit the PACE food pantry. There will be music and guest speakers. There will also be a fundraising table for Mutual Aid of New Bedford.
