New Bedford JazzFest (NBJF) continues its Acoustic Jazz Series on Sun., 8/24 with the Wood Street Jazz Band from 4:00-6:00 PM at the historic Steeple Playhouse, 159 William Street, New Bedford. The event will feature live acoustic jazz in an informal setting, as well as insightful questions and conversation with the band.
Early bird tickets are $22-$25, with general admission $27 at the door. All tickets are available at steeple playhouse.org. The building is completely accessible to all, and there is free parking on the street, as well as in the adjacent parking lot and Elm Street Parking Garage.
Doors will open at 3:30 PM. There will be concessions and soft drinks available for purchase.
Wood Street Jazz is a Rhode Island jazz quintet steeped in the rich history of soul-stirring grooves and irresistible rhythms.
