Play Submissions: Now through Sept 1, 2025. THEME: The Time is Now
• Plays may be 1 – 15 minutes running time (15 pages or fewer)
• Submissions should be in “standard play format”
• Please include a cover page with playwright’s name and contact information
• Also include: a brief synopsis of the play and character breakdown
• Please confirm your availability to attend the Marathon on November 22, 2025 and participate in a brief panel discussion about your play/ process
• Plays with Regional, Contemporary and Climate Change themes are welcome; all plays are considered.
The plays will be presented by an ensemble of actors and directors, on Saturday, 11/22/25, from 2pm-10:00pm, at the Steeple Playhouse in downtown New Bedford, MA
Please submit the play, cover page and synopsis at culturepark.ed@earthlink.net or to: Patty Thomas at culturepark@earthlink.net, with “Marathon Submission” as subject.
