Christmas in July toy drive

July 23, 2025 by Staff Writer

As economic pressures continue to squeeze family budgets, My Brother’s Keeper—an Easton and Dartmouth-based Christian ministry—has launched its second annual “Christmas in July” gift drive to help meet the growing need for assistance this Christmas. Inventory is very low this year.

This is an early-season toy drive to replenish gift stock for My Brother’s Keeper’s long-running Christmas Program, which served more than 3,270 families across southeastern Massachusetts in 2024. My Brother’s Keeper has no prerequisites for service. No costs are ever passed on to those we serve.

“Many are struggling to pay rent, utilities and get food on the table,” said Paul Key, Chief Development Officer. “To be able to alleviate the stress from these parents by saying, ‘We’re going to help you with Christmas gifts for your kids,’ it’s one less thing they have to worry about.”

How to Help:

• Ship new, unwrapped gifts to the Dartmouth or Easton facility by July 26. Shop high demand items on our Amazon & Walmart wish lists. Dartmouth: 1015 Reed Rd, Dartmouth, MA 02747; 774-305-4577; Easton: 534 Washington Street, South Easton, MA 02375; 508-297-9047

• Drop off in person from July 28 – August 1, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at either site.

• Encourage Local businesses to join in and support

• Share news of the My Brother’s Keeper Christmas in July Toy Drive with friends, family, and community groups
