We had a political assassination in this country last week. A state lawmaker in Minnesota and her husband were killed. The same shooter tried to kill another lawmaker and his wife, but they survived the attempt.

Meanwhile, the Big Buffoon won’t even call  Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz, because the Big Buffoon doesn’t like the governor who was the VP on the ticket for the Democrats.

It’s sickening. Absolutely sickening.

But I’m more upset by the responses of some people I know. People who instantly jump to conclusions about the shooter being a Democrat or Marxist, or blaming the victim because of how she acted in front of a camera once.

Just stop that. Just stop it. It does not matter. None of that matters. What matters is that we have too many people in this country who think it is okay to kill people to get their way.

The calls for all liberals to be killed or deported are not funny. Not when your guy is plucking people off the streets for no reason and locking them up.

Why do you think that is okay?

The No Kings demonstrations across the country drew millions. And Fairhaven did its part.

So many Trump supporters are trashing the effort, saying Trump won, so suck it up.

No, we will not. This isn’t about disagreeing with some policy changes or spending issues. This is about the very thing that makes us a great country: Our adherence to the rule of law.

And it’s gone. The trust is gone.

I do not know what it will take to get it back.

But I know where it starts: With protests in the streets. You may believe that nothing comes from them, but I contend that nothing happens without them.

We need to keep getting out there.

We cannot pretend that any of this is normal.

He won an election, not a coronation.

Some of you say this is what you voted for: Masked men plucking people off the streets and locking them up with no warrants, no charges, no access to attorneys. They even did it to a sitting US Senator.

I do not understand you. I do not understand what you ever thought our country was about. But I understand how Germany happened, now.

You’re in a cult. You have TDS: Trump Devotion Syndrome. You need help.

Until next week then, see ya

Glory to Ukraine!
