June 4, 2025 by Staff Writer

Press Release

Howe Allen Realty, the locally-owned boutique real estate firm that you have known for its dedication to Fairhaven and surrounding towns, is pleased to announce the opening of their new location at 47 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.

Their locaton in the Center of Fairhaven reiterates the company’s commitment to serving the community with personalized service and local knowledge.

Founded on the belief that homes are more than places to live — they’re part of a larger story — Howe Allen Realty brings a deep appreciation for design, history, and local culture to every transaction.

From lovingly restored Victorian and Colonial homes to timeless waterfront retreats, Howe Allen and his team help clients find properties that reflect a sense of place and personal style. They expertly and proudly market homes they represent for sale and consistently connect buyers and sellers.

“When we arrived in Fairhaven, over 15 years ago, we knew that this was the town we could call our home,” said Howe.

Since then, Howe Allen has maintained the top real estate brokerage in Fairhaven.

However, it is not about numbers, it is about commitment to knowing the history of the town, the importance of passing that information along and preserving the culture and beauty that natives respect and has attracted like-minded people who want to become part of the community.

“We are passionate about preserving the unique character of coastal and historic communities, and we look forward to helping more people find their dream homes in this one-of-a-kind place,” he said.

In keeping with its values, Howe Allen Realty remains committed to giving back. A portion of every closing is donated to local organizations focused on community activities such as Fitness in the Park; and fundraisers for worthy causes such as the West Island 5K and the TurkeyTrot as well as cultural and historical groups like the Fairhaven Historical Society among others.

“Rather than flashy billboards and vanity advertising, we focus our investment back into our town,” said Mr. Allen.

Their new office location continues in observing and embracing the history of Fairhaven. Formerly built as the parsonage for the minister of the Unitarian Church, the Harrop Center now is utlized for educational purposes, meetings, therapeutic wellness and of course Howe Allen Realty.

“Our location allows us to remain in the center of it all.”
