“United” States should be “indivisible”
Anyone who has been following the drama associated with the failure of passing a replacement of the current Obamacare [national health insurance] is either happy of angry.
Trump adamantly blamed the Democrats for their unified [opposition] against the Republican version of national health care but the real reason was the number of Republicans [now the majority] that were against it.
Now Trump is blaming the “far right” of the Republican Party.
Trump predicts Obamacare will explode. I am not sure what that means but maybe the agencies responsible for national security should go on yellow alert.
I am seeing a disturbing trend. As a voter, I vote for the candidate that will provide a better America…not a better Democratic agenda nor a better Republican agenda. Last time I checked, we live in a country with one agenda.
When I was in elementary school [Oxford], we always began our day saying the Pledge of Allegiance. We did it looking at the flag with our right hand on our hearts. I never really thought about what it meant until now. The “Pledge of Allegiance” should be revisited by those folks we elected to represent America and study the section which states… ”ONE nation under God, INDIVISABLE, with liberty and justice for ALL.”
Then add “UNITED States of America” to the mix.
We have a small version of the Civil War going on except it’s not the North vs South, it’s the Republicans vs Democrats.
Maybe all the voters in the US should change their party declaration to Independent. Then US would become “One Nation” that is undivided….
