Letter_Fidalgo Supports Mello

Fidalgo Supports Mello

I am writing to proudly endorse my friend Natalie A. Mello for the Fairhaven Selectboard. She has a proven track record of dedication, integrity, and ethical leadership qualities we need now more than ever.

Natalie brings invaluable experience in municipal and nonprofit financial management, a sector often misunderstood but crucial to a community’s well-being. Unlike the business world, where profit drives decisions, municipal and nonprofit finances require balancing fiscal responsibility with the mission of serving the public. Natalie has spent years navigating this complex system, ensuring that resources are prioritized for the health, wellness, and sustainability of the communities she has served.

Beyond her professional expertise, Natalie has consistently stepped up in service, not just in Fairhaven but in every community she has called home. She has actively contributed to boards and committees, using her knowledge and leadership to support local governance, fiscal responsibility, and community well-being.

Her work with Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s international study abroad program is a testament to her ability to build strong relationships, develop far-reaching programs, and manage complex initiatives. She has earned the trust of colleagues and professionals in handling one of our most valuable assets — our students — demonstrating her commitment to ethical leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and the success of future generations.

Her professionalism, knowledge, and unwavering dedication to doing what is right make her the right person to help lead Fairhaven forward during this crucial time. Let’s elect leaders who are honest, accountable, and passionate about serving our town.

If these qualities are something you also value in leadership, I ask you to join me in voting for Natalie A. Mello for the Fairhaven Selectboard.

Jess Fidalgo, Fairhaven
