Chuck Kenneally, U.S. Army tanker retired with 43 years of military service, will be the guest speaker at 2 p.m. Sun., 3/23, at the Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum and Veterans Memorial, 1000C South Rodney French Blvd, New Bedford.
He is a member of Abrams Company Fourth Battalion “Burt’s Knights’’ United States Army brotherhood of tankers.
In the past 10 years, Abrams Company has refurbished 19 public monument tanks in five New England states, including three public monument tanks in New Bedford.
He has also refurbished 23 tanks and armored vehicles for the Collins Foundation’s American Heritage Museum in Hudson.
This talk is part of the museum’s historical lecture series. Admission and parking are free.
