Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School (GNB Voc-Tech) and New Bedford High School (NBHS) are excited to announce the expansion of their innovative After Dark Program, now offering Carpentry and Plumbing pathways for students. This collaboration provides NBHS students with enhanced opportunities for hands-on technical education while maintaining their academic studies.
The After Dark Program is designed to prepare students for success in high-demand, skilled trades through a combination of academic rigor and technical training. Beginning in 11th grade, participating NBHS students will attend their academic classes during the regular school day and transition to GNB Voc-Tech Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Carpentry or Plumbing.
Program Highlights:
● Carpentry: Students will gain expertise in blueprint reading, construction techniques, framing, finishing carpentry, and more.
● Plumbing: Students will learn essential skills such as pipefitting, water and heating systems installation, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

How to Apply:
