Joe Yukna, president of the Cape Cod Military Museum, will speak at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12 at the Fort Taber-Fort Rodman Military Museum and Veterans Memorial in New Bedford as the winter historical lecture series continues.
He will discuss the role the famous Rainbow Division played at the Battle of the Bulge during the winter of 1944, also known as the Ardennes Offensive. The Rainbow Division was created in 1917 as a United States Army National Guard outfit, formed from 27 Army National Guard units, including New Bedford.
