First Night New Bedford
Come ring in the New Year with family and friends in New Bedford! From 5-9 PM on Tues., 12/31, enjoy family-friendly programming in historic downtown, including free concerts and music throughout downtown, food trucks, and many other activities inside and outside.
Details were not available by press time, but the night usually includes fireworks or a light show.

First Night Boston
Since 1976, Boston’s First Night has been a New Year’s Eve celebration of artistic performances, the wonders of the season, and the beginning of a new year. In keeping with this fantastic Boston tradition, the First Night celebration will open 2025 with an array of performances.
Thanks to donations from area companies and individuals, First Night Boston is entirely free and open to all. No purchase is required to attend First Night events. It’s the biggest party in New England and we’re excited to welcome you in.
