Election Results
Official results of the state’s 9/4/24 primary resulted in minor changes to both Acushnet and Fairhaven totals, but did not change the outcome for either town.
John Deaton will be the Republican to face incumbent Democrat Elizabeth Warren for US Senator in the general election on 11/3.
In the 10th Bristol district, Democrat Mark Sylvia of Fairhaven will face Republican Joe Pires of Rochester.
Incumbent US Rep. Bill Keating (D) ran unopposed and will face off against Republican challenger Dan Sullivan.
Turnout was 14.67% in Acushnet, and 19.81% in Fairhaven.
The general election is on 11/3 and will include the presidential race and five statewide ballot questions.
