TOWN OF ACUSHNET
The Acushnet Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing at its meeting on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room located at 122 Main Street Acushnet. This hearing is on the petition MA2024-40 from Verizon New England, Inc. and Nstar Electric Company dba Eversource Energy, proposing new facilities – Pole 104/55.5 on Middle Rd.
Middle Rd: Install one (1) JO mid-span pole, 104/55.5, on the east side of Middle Rd., which will be approximately 865’ southwesterly from the centerline of Parris Ln. The new pole will be installed in-line with and approximately 86’ south of existing pole 104/56; and approximately 106’ north of existing pole 104/55.
The installation is being requested by Eversource to support the existing pole line and to keep the wire at a safe height over the driveway of the property at 284 Middle Rd.
