Well, what do you know? I goofed! I did, indeed. Thak you Ms. Carr for sending me to the exact point in the video. That made life easier (see page 23). Honestly, I never would’ve found it.

The consultant did indeed say they put the waterfront back in because a 40B was proposed for the area and town officials wanted to stop that. I have reached out to the Planning Board Chair to find out about that project, who proposed it, and for what property, but I haven’t heard back.

I did hear the consultant say that a 40R was preferable to a 40B, and I noted in the article that he compared the two. But, I missed the part where there was a mention of a specific project for that specific waterfront neighborhood. In my defense, I must say he was quick about it, and I had to listen to it three times on video to be sure he was saying there was actually a proposal.

But, alas, I did make the error. I will fix that with a correction [on page 2 of the PDF below] and a correction in the online articles.

Again, Ms. Carr, thank you for your help in finding the spot on the video. I always say my readers are the BEST.

And BTW, it does not change anything else. Mr. Carr and Mr. DaSilva still own property in the proposed district and should recuse themselves from any deliberation on this matter. Unless, of course, the Ethics Commission says otherwise. However, I’d like to see that in writing, if you please?

Moving on….

Did you miss us?

Lots of fun stuff this week, stuff that happened, stuff that’s happening (see pages, 3, 5, 8, 11).

We have Acushnet news, including Selectboard and the changing of the guard at the River’s End (page 17). And Fairhaven SB on page 6.

There’s other stuff in here, of course. So, check out each and every page and be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.

Until next week then, see ya,

Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
