Friday, June 21st from 2-5:30PM. Kick off the summer reading program with the Book Bike at the Ice Cream Cottage at 12 Ferry St, Fairhaven. Everyone that signs up gets a sticker to present at the Ice Cream Cottage for a free frozen treat. Stick around to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with books, lawn games and other freebies in the nearby park!
Our Summer Reading Program for 2024 is “Read, Renew, Repeat,” featuring events and challenges for our planet! Complete literacy and learning activities in the packet that you can exchange for tickets for our prize raffle, drawn at summer’s end. All ages are welcome to play with packets for kids, teens and adults.
If you can’t make the kick-off, you can still sign up! Anyone can register after June 21st: at the desk during regular library hours, or by downloading at millicentlibrary.org and printing it at home.
