Nomination papers are available for candidates interested in running for office in Fairhaven.
The annual town election will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017. The last day for requesting nomination papers is Thurs., 2/9, at 5 p.m. The last day for Town Meeting incumbents to file written requests for re-election is Mon., 2/6, at 5 p.m. The last day to file all nomination papers with the Town Clerk’s Office is Mon., 2/13, at 5 p.m. The last day for residents to register to vote in the town election is Tues., 3/14.
Papers for town-wide office require 50 certified signatures. Papers for Town Meeting Members require 10 certified signatures. You may register to vote any day from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM – Monday through Friday Mail-in Voter Registration Forms are available at the Town Clerk’s Office, 40 Center St., Fairhaven, 508-979-4023, Ext. 3.
