Join us in honoring a well-lived life as we celebrate Alice Fortin’s 100th birthday!
Alice, a beloved resident of Fairhaven, has reached an incredible milestone, and her family and friends invite you to share in the joy of this special occasion.
Born on March 31, 1924, in New Bedford, Alice has lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. In 1943, she married her husband, Alfred Fortin, who is now deceased, and had two children, Nancy Fortin and Carol Fortin. Alice waitressed at Star Store in New Bedford. In 1968, they built a home in Fairhaven.
Alice has four grandchildren, Richard Ramos, Kimberly Lavoie, Stacey Medeiros, and Nicole Furlan, and three great-grandchildren, Bethany Ramos, Andrew Lavoie, and Matthew Lavoie.
Alice is an incredible mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and she has deeply touched the lives of those who she has known.
Alice has had many interests and hobbies throughout her life, including reading, cross-stitching, crocheting, doing puzzles, playing cards, and watching tennis.
Happy 100th Birthday, Alice! Here’s to a century of love, laughter, and a legacy that will continue to inspire us all.
