Candidates Night
The Town of Fairhaven Public Access TV is sponsoring a Meet the Candidates night on Thurs., 3/21, at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium, 40 Center St., Fairhaven. The event is open to the public, and will run live on Channel 18 and will run live and be available on demand on Fairhaven TV.com.
Candidates Debate
There will also be a candidates debate for Select Board and Planning Board candidates on Sun., 3/24, from 1–3 p.m., at Traveler’s Alehouse, 111 Huttleston Ave. (Route 6), Fairhaven.
The purpose of the Candidate Debate is to give Fairhaven voters an opportunity to hear you, the candidates, answer and discuss the issues of importance to them in this election. This is your opportunity to directly speak to the Fairhaven community and showcase who you are as a candidate.
Candidates will answer questions from the three-person panel moderated event. All questions to the candidates will cover various aspects pertinent to the Town of Fairhaven. The candidates will not be informed of the questions. The forum will follow the nonpartisan, unbiased and impartial format established by the moderator.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be recorded and will run on Channel 95, and will be available on demand on FairhavenTV.com.
