Oh, Spring, you’re toying with us…stop that, please.
We continue this week with candidate statements. We have two more of the contested races: School Committee (page 12) and Board of Health (page 6). Next week we’ll have Planning Board and that will be it for the contested races. Then we’ll have one more week for your letters before the big day on 4/1 (which can’t come soon enough, heaven help us).
Meanwhile, there is a candidates night sponsored by the town’s public access TV and they want your questions. See page 3 for details.
We have meeting coverage for you this week. See page 4 for Fairhaven Select Board. The word “fiasco” comes to mind, but, hey, what do I know? I’ve only been doing this for 19 years.
And if anyone know what that personnel thing is about, I’m all ears. Remember, I don’t have to reveal my sources, Remember the Pentagon Papers? So, don’t be shy.
Now, about our cover story.
What fun! I just LOVE these kinds of stories. Claire Carter is 100 and still having fun. Her family and friends decided to give her a great tribute, and in true small town fashion we even had a police escort.
Ah…gotta love this town (just stay away from those gawdawful meetings).
There’s other good stuff in here, of course, including the new Economic Development Committee survey (see page 14.
