McKenna Will Be Independent Voice
I am writing to strongly endorse the candidacy of Donna McKenna for Fairhaven Select Board.
In my over 30 years as a Town employee, Department Head and Police Chief, I have never seen the Town so polarized and suffering from a lack of leadership as it is today.
Donna has served the Town exceptionally well as an independent voice on the School Committee and is the type of person to begin the reformation of the Select Board into one that leads not follows and listens to the concerns of constituents.
She will be an independent voice unintimidated by contrary opinions or name calling when she knows she is right.
Now is the time for people like her to step up and provide competent leadership. I strongly commend her for being willing to put herself up front and face the slings and arrows that come with Town politics.
I have never written an endorsement like this for any candidate for public office. I do this at a critical time for the welfare of the Town of Fairhaven and encourage all of you who are similarly concerned to come out and vote for Donna McKenna on April 1st.
