Town of Fairhaven BPW Request for Proposals
The Town of Fairhaven Board of Public Works (Owner) is accepting proposals for the Water Storage Tank Maintenance Program, RFP No. BPW-WTR-23-02, until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on January 26, 2024 at the Office of the Board of Public Works, 5 Arsene Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719.
Proposals for the Water Storage Tank Maintenance Program shall include services for extended rehabilitation, maintenance, repair, and asset management services for the Boston Hill Tank and Sconticut Neck Tank in the Town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
The Request For Proposals (RFP) may be obtained in electronic format through Tata & Howard, Inc. by contacting Allison Shivers, P.E., at ashivers@ tataandhoward.com. Any vendors who request the Contract Documents will be required to provide their contact name, business name, address, email address, and telephone number to assure that they will receive potential addenda, which will be issued via email to the address provided.
Proposers must submit separately sealed technical proposals and price proposals. Technical proposals must present evidence of qualifications and experience to fulfill the Owner’s equipment and service requirements as described in the specifications. The response to the Reference Statement must be fully completed and included in the technical proposal envelope.
All proposals are subject to the applicable laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 30B, as amended. Payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100-percent of the Contract Price, are required as noted in the General Conditions of Contract.
Minimum wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Labor Standards under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project.
All material submitted by Proposers becomes the irrevocable and sole property of the Owner unless otherwise specified. The Owner shall be under no obligation to return any proposal or material submitted by a Proposer, unless specified in this RFP. The Owner may consider any proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this RFP incomplete and reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any and all proposals should the Owner determine it to be in the public interest to do so.
