Police Chief Richard B. Nighelli is pleased to share that the Marion Police Department is sponsoring a two-session women’s self-defense program on Mon. & Wed., 11/6 & 8, at Marion Music Hall, 164 Front St..
Through demonstrations and interactions, participants will learn quick, effective defenses to the most common attacks. The program aims to empower women by helping them learn the best techniques to protect themselves and build confidence in self-defense.
The cost for the program is $35. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the New Bedford Women’s Center.
The program is open to all women ages 15 and older. Participants do not need to be Marion residents. Download the registration form at https://tinyurl.com/5ef9d3zv
