The highly anticipated 10th annual Seaport Art Walk is set to captivate art enthusiasts and locals alike as it returns to the historic working waterfront of New Bedford this July. Celebrating a decade of creativity, this year’s multi-artist installation promises to be a milestone showcase of public art.
Opening on July 13th and running through the end of October 2023, the art walk invites attendees to engage with artworks positioned both outdoors along the waterfront and, new this year, indoors at Groundwork Coworking Space, located in the Quest Center at 1213 Purchase Street, New Bedford.
During AHA! New Bedford on Thursday, July 13 a special opening tour of the outdoor exhibit with the artists will take place at 6:30 p.m., beginning at Buzzards Bay Coalition, 114 Front Street. The indoor portion of the Seaport Art Walk featured at Groundwork opens with an artist’s reception on Saturday, July 15 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with music and refreshments.
