Oh…I love it when graduation is outside and not in the squeezatorium.
They took a chance, but it paid off. The wind was kind of fun, but the rain held off, just sprinkling a tad for good measure.
See page 12 for our story on Fairhaven High School’s graduation and how one young woman got a memory that, well, she probably didn’t want. But, I’m telling you Ms. Langevin, it will become a great family story.
Ah yes, graduation. I’m supposed to be profound. but, alas, it’s very late and I didn’t think ahead. The news today is filled with numbnuts trying to run the country. Heaven help us….well, maybe you kids will. Yes, you will. We’re counting on you. We kind of messed it up. You fix it, okay? But, not yet. You go out and have some fun. The problems will be here when you’re ready to take them on, I assure you.
I see so much promise in this generation. They grew up with freedom and tolerance. I hope they never settle for anything less.
The patriarch of the Cox family died this week (see page 17). He will be missed, but his family is still involved in so many things in Fairhaven. And the chocolate, well….yeah, there’s chocolate. Enjoy the sweets where there are no restrictions, Mr. Cox.
In other news….the override failed, big time. See page 3 for the Select Board story and the override numbers. The voters have spoken, loud and clear.
There’s all kinds of other stuff in here, of course. Be sure to read every word and let our advertisers know you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week then…see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
