Marilyn Louise Mortensen (Hann)
Marilyn Louise Mortensen (Hann), 85, passed away on May 26, 2023 after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Fairhaven, MA, and a Fairhaven High School graduate, Marilyn was born in New Bedford, MA on Jan. 22, 1938 to the late Randall James Hann and Emma Violet Hann. The middle child of three, she was proceeded in death by both her sister Dorothy Donnelly (Hann) and brother James. Together, with her late husband, Kenneth S. Mortensen, she was a proud mother of three, and will be missed by all.
She is survived by: her partner of over 40 years — Donald Sargelis; her children — Kimberly Ann Quinlan (Tim), Kenneth Randolph (Karen), and Kristine Louise Raines (Bradley); her grandchildren — Kendra (Ashley), Kenny (Erica), Katie, Erin, Andrew (Kathleen), and Matt; and her great grandchildren — Jackson, Luke, and Elliot.
The family would like to acknowledge Fairhaven Community Health Care and St. Luke’s Hospital medical staff for their exceptional care and compassion.
There will be a graveside memorial burial service sat Riverside Cemetery in Fairhaven on July 28, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven.
