Town Hall: Have You Heard of the Three Blind Mice?
What has been happening in the Fairhaven Town Hall in the past year?! We have lost our Finance Director, Town Planner, two Conservation Agents, multiple building Commissioners, two Assessors, and a payroll clerk.
Why have they all left? Is it due to administrative mismanagement? I have lived in this town over 67 years and have never seen such a large number of employees leaving in such a short amount of time. Our staff at Town Hall is unrecognizable along with the aesthetics of our unique and beautiful building.
Isn’t it time our Select Board looks into why the Town Hall has lost so many good employees? Maybe we need a whistleblower to come forward!
Have you heard of Three Blind Mice? it seems we have five Blind Mice.
A Proposition 2 1/2 override will do nothing to help this situation and our current Town Administrator doesn’t have any stakes in what happens in our town. Why? Because she lives 90 miles away!
