The West Island Red Hatters held their monthly lunch on St. Patrick’s Day, 3/17/23, at the Bayside Lounge in Fairhaven.
Terry Pereira organized the March lunch with artist Chris Smith and decided that in honor of Women’s History Month, they would have a few special guests, including Fairhaven Town Administrator Angie Lopes Ellison, Fairhaven Council on Aging Director Martha Reed, and Neighb News editor Beth David, Terry’s table of “Power Women.
The event included some speechmaking, a couple of Irish toasts/blessings, corned beef & cabbage, and lots of gabbing. The group’s membership is at capacity, but members are welcome to invite guests.
