Saturday, March 18, 2023, Greg O’Brien will be the special guest speaker at the Acushnet Senior Community Center, 59 ½ South Main Street. He is an investigative journalist and author of the award-winning book, “On Pluto, Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s.” Greg was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s 12 years ago and rather than giving up, he felt the calling to double down and educate the world about the vicious disease known as Alzheimer’s. A resident of Cape Cod, Greg is a featured speaker coast to coast about living with this disease as well as the emotional and financial strain it places on a family.
• At 12:00 p.m. Have You Heard About Greg? A Journey Through Alzheimer’s with Faith, Hope & Humor, an award-winning documentary, by Director Steve Ecclesine, will be shown followed by a meet and greet, and book signing, at 1:45 p.m. with Greg O’Brien.
