Well, winter is trying to show up, finally. That was a messy, but short storm. In just nine days we change the clocks and jump forward to Daylight Saving Time. The Senate passed the Sunshine Protection Act to keep us in DST after this change, but…the House didn’t vote on it, so, for now, we’re looking at the fall back change in November.
But, let’s just concentrate on now for a bit, okay? Next week (NEXT, not now) we change the clocks to give us more daylight in the evening.
Yeah, I’m okay with that.
Time to start thinking about fishing and stuff.
Meanwhile, we’ve got a story on Fairhaven’s first Black History event (see page 12). It go quite as planned, but it was a successful event.
We also have a bit of meeting coverage (see page 3), and info on a fire at Fairhaven Village (see page 11).
It is now Women’s History Month, and there are a few events marking that occasion. Don’t be shy, turn the page and find them. And while you’re at it, be sure to notice who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week then…see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
