Ms. Korinn Petersen, Esq., vice president for Clean Water Advocacy at the Buzzards Bay Coalition, will be the featured speaker at the Mattapoisett Woman’s Club on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church, 27 Church Street. Mattapoisett.
Attorney Petersen will discuss her advocacy work on behalf of the Coalition and focus on the long-term sustainable use of Buzzards Bay by managing both local and regional projects designed to reduce nitrogen pollution from wastewater.
The Buzzards Bay Coalition adopted an ambitious Strategic Plan that highlighted the need for more advocacy if the Coalition was going to live up to the promise of its founders to save Buzzards Bay.
