ACUSHNET CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Acushnet Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room, 122 Main Street, Acushnet, Massachusetts.
• Public Hearing — RDA — Cathy Tavares/87 Peckham Road A Request for Determination was filed by Cathy Tavares for property located at 87 Peckham Road, Map 2 Lot 3Q. The applicant proposes to install a new septic system to service the existing 4 bedroom dwelling with installation of a new pump chamber and plastic chamber leaching field. Erosion controls will be installed at the limit of work. The applicant is represented by Richard Riccio of Field Engineering Co., Inc. Plan name is “Proposed Sewage Disposal System Repair” dated January 23, 2023.
• Public Hearing — After-the-Fact NOI — Navisun, LLC — Project Acushnet MA 2, LLC/550 Main Street SE 001-XXXX An After the Fact Notice of Intent was filed by Navisun, LLC for property located at 550 Main Street, Map 11, Lots 4 and 7. The project includes the installation of a 1,756 kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) array covering a fenced area of approximately 8.9 acres at 550 Main Street, Acushnet, split between lots 4 and 7. The proposed solar PV system will be installed as one array, within the eastern portion of the site. The project requires land clearing of approximately 16.2 acres. The applicant is represented by Robert Bukowski of Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc. Plan name is “Solar PV Development” dated January 10, 2023. This project has already begun and due to a violation the project now requires an After-the-Fact Notice of Intent filing.
