“Traveling for Photos and Taking Photos While Traveling” talk by Richard Van Inwegen at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library, 7 Barstow St., on Sun., 1/29 from 2–3 pm.
Do you like to take photographs while traveling? Travel to take photographs? Or do both? Come to the Mattapoisett Free Public Library Artist Series presentation and hear local photographer Richard Van Inwegen share his wisdom about the different approaches between taking snapshots and making photographs.
Using images from several different types of trips ranging from dedicated photo trips to family vacations, he will discuss how the type of travel greatly influences the amount of time spent photographing. He will provide some tips on how to improve the odds of getting good photographs with research, planning, perseverance, and managing expectations.
